W4C - OUTDOOR WPC (4 SECTIONS)

Overview

The W4C Outdoor WPC is a weather-grade wood-plastic composite slat with 4 raised sections across its face. Engineered for outdoor use: UV-stabilised colour, thicker back-web, and co-extruded cap layer that resists water ingress, fungal growth, and surface fade.

Panel size: 2900 × 220 × 26 mm.

Why W4C

• Outdoor-grade WPC. UV-stabilised, moisture-resistant, and dimensionally stable across Thailand's temperature swings.
• 4-section fluted face. Raised flutes add shadow and grip the eye; water drains freely down the grooves.
• Installs on battens. Fix with stainless-steel screws through the back web into a pressure-treated timber or aluminium batten subframe.
• Low-maintenance. No painting, no staining — wipe down with water to clean.
• Eco-friendly composition. Recycled wood fibre and polymers replace the need for solid tropical timber.

Installation

1. Build a batten subframe. Pressure-treated timber or aluminium battens at ~600 mm centres, spaced so each slat is supported at top, bottom, and intermediate points.
2. Ventilate. Leave a ventilation gap at the top and bottom of the run to allow airflow behind the cladding.
3. Fix with stainless screws through the back web of each slat into the batten — not through the face.
4. Allow expansion gaps. 5 mm end gaps between butting slats and at wall returns.
5. Seal cut ends with a matching factory-supplied cap trim.

Care & handling

Store flat and indoors until installation. Inspect each slat for colour variation or shipping damage before installing — once fixed, claims cannot be accepted. After installation, hose down periodically and wipe with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use high-pressure washers within 30 cm of the face.
