SPC003 - SPC

Overview

The SPC003 is a Stone Polymer Composite (SPC) flooring plank in a Warm Walnut wood-look finish. SPC is the current generation of rigid-core waterproof flooring — a limestone-polymer core under a printed wood-effect film and a tough UV-cured wear layer. Installs click-fit, floats over most existing hard floors, and is the most forgiving hard-floor choice for humid tropical rooms.

Plank size: 1220 × 183 × 4 mm (including a 0.5 mm wear layer).

Why SPC003

• 100% waterproof. Safe in kitchens, laundries, and bathrooms — no swelling, no edge delamination.
• Rigid core. Stone-polymer composite won't telegraph subfloor imperfections the way vinyl plank does.
• Click-fit install. Goes over concrete, tile, or existing timber — no glue, no nails, no screed.
• IXPE acoustic underlay on the back of each plank — dampens footfall out of the box.
• UV-cured wear layer. Scratch-resistant and stain-resistant; wipe down with any standard floor cleaner.
• Real-wood look. Embossed-in-register grain texture matches the printed knot and grain pattern.

Installation

1. Prepare the subfloor. Clean, flat, and dry. Fill low spots > 3 mm.
2. Leave a 10 mm expansion gap around all walls and fixed obstacles.
3. Click-fit plank to plank — short ends first, then long-edge join.
4. Stagger the joints by ~300 mm between rows for a natural look.
5. Finish with skirting (pair with K- or P-series) that covers the expansion gap.

Cut with a sharp utility knife (score and snap) or a mitre saw with a fine-tooth blade.

Care & handling

Store flat and flat and indoors — 24-48 hours — to acclimatise to the room temperature before installation. Inspect each plank for colour variation, shade matching, and manufacturing defects before installing — once laid and traffic has started, claims cannot be accepted. Sweep and damp-mop with a neutral-pH floor cleaner; avoid steam mops and abrasive pads.
