T-SPC003 - SPC Corner T Corner

Overview

The T-SPC003 is a T-profile transition trim for SPC flooring — colour-matched to SPC00x planks in Warm Walnut. Use it to cover the floor-to-floor transition at doorways where SPC meets another floor (tile, stone, existing timber) or where two SPC runs meet at an expansion joint in rooms longer than 10 m.

Standard length: 900 mm.

Why T-SPC003

• Colour-matched. Printed onto the same wood-look film as our SPC flooring — the transition reads as part of the floor, not a hardware strip.
• T-profile. Legs of the T drop into the expansion gap on either side; the top flange covers both.
• Rigid SPC core. Won't crack under foot traffic or chair casters.
• Easy to install. Drop into the expansion gap and press; no adhesive needed for most doorways.

Where to use it

• Doorways between rooms with different floor finishes
• Expansion joints on long runs of SPC (every ~10 m)
• Threshold transitions to wet-area tile (pair with a colour-matched silicone bead if you want a water barrier)

Installation

1. Lay the SPC floors on both sides of the transition, leaving a 10 mm expansion gap at the doorway.
2. Clip the T-trim into the gap. If the gap is deeper than the trim leg, stack a piece of scrap plank underneath as a shim.
3. Fix (optional) with a small amount of construction adhesive under the top flange — only if the trim won't stay seated on its own.
4. Cut to width of the doorway with a fine-tooth saw.

Care & handling

Store flat and indoors. Inspect for colour match to your SPC plank before installing. Clean with a soft cloth and neutral-pH floor cleaner.
