CK WPC CEILING MOUNTING ROD

Overview

The CK-MOUNT is the ceiling mounting rod for the CK WPC Ceiling Pillar system. It fixes to the structural ceiling with screws and provides the clip-in track that holds each CK ceiling pillar (CK-15, CK-115) perfectly parallel and securely in place.

Why CK-MOUNT

• Purpose-built for CK pillars. Clip-in profile locks each pillar without visible fixings on the face.
• Fast, tool-light install. Screw the mount to the ceiling, clip the pillars in — no hidden nails or complicated brackets.
• Aligns the run automatically. Once the mounts are straight, every pillar sits straight.
• Reusable / serviceable. Pillars can be clipped out for access to services above the ceiling and clipped back in afterwards.

How many do I need?

Each CK-MOUNT can carry up to 30 pieces of CK pillar along its length. However, every run of pillars needs support at four evenly-spaced points along the pillar length — typically at the top, one-quarter, one-half, and three-quarter points — so the pillars don't bow or sag.

Rule of thumb: for every 30 pieces of pillar, order 4 × CK-MOUNT.

Example: if you are installing a feature ceiling with 90 pieces of CK pillar, order 12 × CK-MOUNT (90 ÷ 30 × 4 = 12).

Your installer can adjust the exact mount positions to match the ceiling structure — the 4-per-run guideline is the minimum for a stable, long-life install.

Installation

1. Mark the mount positions on the ceiling — four rows spaced evenly along the length of the pillars.
2. Screw each CK-MOUNT to the structural ceiling (joists, furring channels, or a timber batten subframe).
3. Check the mounts are straight and parallel.
4. Clip the CK pillars into the mount channels and press home until the clip locks.

Care & handling

Store indoors and inspect each mount before installation. Once the ceiling is closed up, concealed damage cannot be claimed.
