Description
Overview
The CK-115 WPC Ceiling Pillar is a premium wood-plastic composite profile designed to turn any flat ceiling into a layered, architectural feature. In a Walnut Taupe finish with a 50 × 60 mm section and a 2900 mm length, it pairs the warmth of timber with the durability of WPC — ready for residential and commercial fit-outs alike.
The pillar installs onto the matching CK-MOUNT ceiling mounting rod, a clip-in track that locks each pillar in place and keeps the run perfectly parallel. Together, the pillar and mount form a clean, modular ceiling system that is fast to install and easy to service.
Why CK-115
- Premium WPC construction. Resists moisture, warping, and fading — happy indoors, on covered soffits, and in humid rooms.
- Clip-in mounting system. Pairs with CK-MOUNT for a tool-light install — no visible fixings on the face of the pillar.
- 2900 mm standard length. Suits most ceiling runs without joins; trim on-site with a fine-tooth saw.
- Low-VOC, fire-retardant WPC. Meets stringent fire safety standards for commercial fit-outs.
- Timber-look finish in Walnut Taupe. Coordinates with our B-Series flatboards and S-Series slats in the same colour family for fully-wrapped rooms.
Where to use it
- Living room, bedroom, and entryway ceilings
- Hotel lobbies, restaurants, retail shops, and showrooms
- Office meeting rooms, reception areas, and co-working spaces
- Covered patios, verandas, and lift lobbies
- Over kitchen islands, bar counters, and feature zones to lower the perceived ceiling height
How the system works (pillars + mounts)
The CK-MOUNT ceiling mounting rod fixes to the structural ceiling with screws. Each mount can carry up to 30 pieces of pillar arranged along its length. For every length (run) of pillars you plan to install, we suggest fitting 4 CK-MOUNT rods — spaced roughly at the top, one-quarter, one-half, and three-quarter points along the pillar — so the pillars are supported at four evenly-spaced locations and cannot bow or sag.
Rule of thumb: for every 30 pieces of pillar, order 4 × CK-MOUNT. The installer can then lay out the exact mount positions to suit the ceiling layout and structure.
Installation
- Plan the layout. Decide the pillar spacing (typical: 50–150 mm gap between pillars) and the direction of the run.
- Fix the mounts. Screw 4 × CK-MOUNT rods to the ceiling, spaced evenly along the length of the run (every ~1/4 of the pillar length).
- Clip in the pillars. Slot each pillar into the mounts and press home — the mount's clip profile locks the pillar in place.
- Trim and finish. Cut the end pillars to length with a fine-tooth saw and cap with a matching end trim if required.
Care & handling
Store pillars flat and indoors until installation. Inspect each piece for colour variation, grain differences, or shipping damage before installing — once mounted, claims cannot be accepted. Wipe with a damp cloth to clean.
