LT15 - Lighting Rod

Overview

The LT15 Lighting Rod is a linear WPC profile with an integrated LED channel — a single piece of D56 wall slat with a routed groove along its face that houses a strip of LED lighting behind a diffusing cover. Pair with B / S / R / U slat walls to add a continuous glowing line of light across a feature wall.

Length 2900 mm, Warm Beige finish.

Why LT15

• Architectural light, not a retrofit. The LED sits inside the rod rather than being surface-mounted — the wall reads as a glowing line, not as a light fixture with a panel behind it.
• Matched finish. Same Warm Beige as our regular slats — seamlessly swap one slat in a run for a lighting rod.
• Linear diffused light. Soft wash along the wall — good for mood lighting in bedrooms, restaurants, hotel corridors.
• Same install as a slat. Mount alongside the other slats in the same run; standard fixings.
• Driver not included. Use a 12V or 24V constant-voltage driver sized to the strip length — specify at checkout or purchase separately.

Installation

1. Plan the run. Decide where the lit rod sits within the slat layout — usually alternated every N slats for a rhythm, or a single accent line.
2. Route the driver cable. The cable exits through the back of the rod — plan a wall chase or drop-ceiling route.
3. Fix like a normal slat. Adhesive, screws, or batten subframe. Make sure the batten clears the LED channel on the back.
4. Connect the driver. 12V or 24V DC — check the rod spec before wiring. An electrician should make the final mains connection.

Cut with a fine-tooth wood saw; do not cut through the LED strip unless you're re-terminating the strip with a proper connector.

Care & handling

Store flat and indoors until installation. Keep the LED face clean with a dry soft cloth. Inspect each rod before installing — once installed behind a wall lining, claims cannot be accepted. Do not expose to direct water; indoor dry-use only unless specified otherwise.
